the scenic beauty of the rugged BC coastline of the Strait of Georgia,
be transported to the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary
situated on Westham Island, just west of the community of Ladner
in the Municipality of Delta. This sanctuary consists of nearly
300 hectares (850 acres) of managed wetlands, natural marshes and
low dikes in the heart of the Fraser River Estuary.

reach of the city of Vancouver, BC, you can also take a bicycle

opportunities of the Steller's and California sea lions amongst

rich, natural habitats. Let yourself be awe inspired on a 2 hour
Bird Watching Tour starting just West of the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
On this tour you'll see dabbling ducks such as widgeon, golden eye,
swans merganser and the chance of bitterns, a notoriously hard bird
to see. Over 24 species of duck have been seen here.
